Dr Jean Antoine-Dunne is a Senior Lecturer in Literatures in English at the University of the West Indies, St Augustine. She specializes in Modernism, West Indian Literature and the Interface between Film and Literature. She is a former Unilever Newman Scholar in Film and Modern Literature at University College Dublin. She is also editor with Paula Quigley of The Montage Principle. Eisenstein in New Cultural Contexts (2005); is one of the editors of the Journal of West Indian Literature; is co-designer and first coordinator of the first BA in Film at the University of the West Indies and is also a practicing painter.
