Artist's Statement:

Education – Attended Holy Name Convent at O and A level, then completed a three-year diploma in Graphic Design and Applied Arts at the John Donaldson Technical Institute, where I attained a Beryl Mc Burnie Scholarship to complete this course. Spent last 11 years honing my knowledge and skill in this field but it wasn't until life threw me its unforeseen swings that the creative juices really started flowing. My medium is my trusty pen and colour pencil, which I use to create designs based on poems that I've written over the last few years. I also use nature in the form of leaves and flowers to create my backgrounds to conjure up emotions and create the continuity of line that I'm so fascinated by.
