Serge Dimitri PITROIPA is a director, producer and set designer born in Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso. He attended secondary school in Ouagadougou. He went on to study at the School of Arts at the National Arts and Crafts Centre. In 2005, he took part in the first animation training course in Burkina Faso and joined the Yelboundi association. In 2009, he founded ABCA, the Association Burkinabè du Cinéma d'Animation. Since 2013, he has run his own production company, Pi Production. Serge Dimitri PITROIPA has directed a dozen films (animation, documentary, drama series, etc.).
