Born in 4th January 1980, Joyce started off as a producer in the media industry after majoring in electronic media in her Bachelor's degree from Daystar University.
When this opportunity found her, she was already producing a couple of TV shows. She had been working as a producer at a local TV station when she auditioned for the part as Shiku in Better Days (for which she won the CHAT and KIFFT Best Actress awards). The matching duet of circumstances and skills set the ball rolling for her instantly.
This was her first time as a screen actor and she found it exciting. Therefore, when the audition for Better Days came, she was more than ready to take on another acting role.
Interestingly, Joyce had never thought about going into directing, but a compelling chain of events stirred up the need for her to try it out. After Better Days, Joyce went back to production, but this time starting her own company in 2006.

Joyce Musoke has become a household name since she was first propelled into stardom by her lead role in the television series Better Days. Since then she has been involved in various productions including advertisements, movies and series. Over the years, Joyce has gained invaluable insight on what it takes to make it in the Kenyan showbiz industry
