ICACD 2009 was held in Accra, Ghana November 15th to 18th 2009. on the theme of Culture and the Millennium Development Goals. ICACD 2009 was also hosting focus events on:
- Culture, Governance and Traditional Leadership, and
- Art and Culture as tools for conflict resolution
