"I am a perambulating individual with creative tendencies that ensure that entertainment is brought to everyone," John Cole.

Don't let his dazzling smile and height fool you, John Cole is more than just a model and a dancer, he is a force of nature!

At 26, he is one of the most talented choreographers in the capital with a resume that would put most artists to shame. His name is fast turning into a brand in the dance industry, a great accomplishment for the young man whose vision goes beyond the stage.

With a witty, natural and insightful demeanor, Cole shares that life experiences grounded him to be the man he is today.

The guidance from his grandmother at an early age and the challenges of fatherhood being too outstanding forces which motivate him to strive for higher standards each day.

A devoted family man, John speaks of lovingly of his wife and sons.

"I dance for my family, not only to earn a living, but to leave a legacy and be a role model to my boys, something I never had," he says.

And dance he does, graduating from mere dancer to choreographer, which he describes as the art of not only learning moves and expressing them, but rather involves imagining, creating, visualizing, training, expressing and performing all the sequences.

He has worked with a number of embassies, corporations, organizations such as Barclays Bank, Coca Cola, Spanish Embassy, Roots, One Billion Rising and Streets Ahead.

His choreography has seen him partner with various artists including ZIMA Award winners Sabastian Magacha and Cynthia Mare, Ammara Brown and Innocent Utsiwegota to mention but a few.

His enthusiasm is hardly concealed as he shares that he is leaving for the Philippines for a short tour, an opportunity availed to no other choreographer yet!

Asked what he would tell any aspiring dancers, John replies, "If I said don't give up it would sound cliché, so I'll emphasize this, Stand your ground, know your worth and remember you are the master of your destiny."
