CHANGES could be in store for next year's Jamaica Jazz and Blues Fesitval.
Without going into details, associate producer Junior Taylor says organisers will revisit aspects of the festival which was scheduled to end last night at the Trelawny Multi-Purpose Stadium.
He did reveal that Jamaica Night, first introduced in 2012 as a tribute to the country's 50th anniversary of Independence, is one of the areas under the microscope.
"The Jamaica Night is indeed questionable. It is hard to maintain considering the level of production which goes into an event of this nature. One of the things is the low turnout we get," Taylor told the Sunday Observer. "It is clear that the Thursday night is an issue because it is midweek and not many persons get the time off or can come to the festival and be at work the following day."
He is pleased with the performances of the first two nights but hopes for larger audiences.
"The turnout is good... I would have preferred to see a little bit more, but I'm happy for it. Based on what I'm seeing we could break even."
