Album Launch| Shoeshine Boy: The Cool Shoeshine

Almost exactly one year ago, we hosted the launch of Shoeshine Boy's second album The African Way – do you remember? He finally has finished the work on his next album called The Cool Shoeshine. Unlike his last record The Cool Shoeshine is a 14 track, pure Reggae album that features different local and international artists like Mr. Tones from Nairobi, Sista Kira from Cologne, and Yuki Ko from Essen.

Shoeshine Boy was born in a small lakeside town in the Western province of Kenya. After moving to Nairobi and finishing high school he started as a Reggae/Dancehall vocal artist, musically influenced by Jamaican DJs like Capleton and Sizzla. Shoeshine Boy has performed together with artists like Chavelle Franklyn and Lt. Stitchie, and has toured in Europe two times within the last few years. At the album launch he will be backed by TuneDem Band.
