The first edition of the ‘High Vibes Festival', a celebration of highlife music and the arts will take place from the 12th to 15th of November 2009.
The festival which is put together by Contemporary African Music (CAMP) in collaboration with the French Embassy, Alliance Francaise and UNESCO and with the support of the Ministry of Chieftaincy and Culture and the Ministry of Tourism will begin with a one day seminar, exploring the evolution of highlife, exhibition of original photographs, images, albums and artwork from the history of Ghanaian music at the National Theatre.
