Florent de la Tullaye, born on July 31, 1971 in Latronche, France, began his career as a professional photographer.

Together, the two have been directing films and producing musical talents in Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of Congo, since 2003. They recorded the first album of the band Okwess International in 2006 and directed a musical documentary called Jupiter's Dance about its charismatic leader Jupiter. They are currently producing two more albums and editing another musical documentary about Staff Benda Bilili, an orchestra made up of disabled people. They were commissioned different topics about Africa for the TV program Tracks on ARTE.
