Samuel is a talented and innovative artist; his brush's name is 'PROPHASK' and he refers to his collection as "the land of colours". Born on the 14th February 1981.He completed elementary school at the Asuoyeboah Metropolitan Assembly school in 1998 and had his secondary education at Kumasi secondary Technical school in Kumasi.
He studied visual art as a course with specialization in textiles, graphic design, sculpture and general knowledge in Art. By 2001 he had sailed through this course with flying colours. As a result, Samuel was admitted into Kwame Nkrumah University of science and technology (KNUST) in the year 2003 to pursue a degree in integrated rural art and industry. He did not study painting but to prove his versatility, Samuel took painting as a hobby and is now one of the best painters in Ghana meeting the international standard.
He has participated in several exhibitions both internally and externally. Apart from the exhibitions in Ghana his works has been part of exhibitions in the United Kingdom, United States and most of the African countries. Some of his works can be seen at the Artist Alliance Gallery in Ghana and most of the top Galleries in Ghana.
In 2011 Prophask had an opportunity to hang some of his works in 'Monument de la Renaissance Africaine, Galerie Kemboury' and some other top galleries in Senegal. He is ready to deal with all collectors all over the world.
Samuel creates abstracts, realistic and surrealistic works. His main mediums of choice are canvas and paper. His favourite applications are acrylic, oil and water colour. Samuels' inspirations are from proverbs, wise sayings, daily activities and dreams. He uses warm and cool colours wonderfully together to harness vim, vigour and vitality.
One must agree that Samuel is a self-thought painter. He has also been known to the use of straw and other natural objects in creating pictorial scenes. He began developing his artistic talent by scribbling on the ground, leaves and wall surfaces and now God has brought him to this far. His aspiration is to become one of the most wonderful painters the world has ever seen. He also wants to create his own world/land that would be named THE LAND OF COLOURS.
