Egyptian Film Director and Producer. Mostafa Youssef's latest short film as a director, Blue Dive, was officially selected for this year's International Film Festival at Rotterdam and competed officially at the Doha Tribeca Film Festival. His earlier short films: Shawarby St. and Call of Madness won numerous local awards, including Special Jury Prize at the "Rencontre de l'image, 2007," and were internationally selected for several festivals including NYU's NextReel, Mediterraneo Film Festival, Up and Coming Film Festival, Cinemadamare. He has directed and produced over 20 documentaries both for local causes and global issues, working with NGOs including Care, ACT, Environment Television, among others and for regional broadcasters.
