Machérie EKWA
Born in Kisagani, Democratic Republic of Congo in 1993. She took screenwriting and film directing workshops while studying Law. In 2016, she wrote six episodes of the series Nakisa: Lobi mokola ya sika, which was financed by the American NGO Search for Common Ground. Maki'la (2018) is her debut film.

Machérie Ekwa Bahango
Geboren 1993 in Kisangani, Demokratische Republik Kongo. Parallel zu einem Jurastudium besuchte sie Drehbuch- und Filmregie-Workshops. 2016 schrieb sie das Drehbuch zu sechs Episoden der Serie Nakisa: Lobi mokola ya sika, die von der amerikanischen NGO Search for Common Ground finanziert wurde. Maki'la (2018) ist ihr Debütfilm.
