Born in Komotini, Greece, in 1983, she studied pharmacy at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki before switching to the Department of Fine Arts to study film. She partcipated as a director in Berlinale Talents and the Sarajevo Talent Campus. Her short films have won numerous awards at international festivals.
