Born the 8th July 1980, Julien Fiorentino holds a master's
degree in History and a licence's degree in management projects.
In 2004, he took part, in an associative context, at the opening
of an undergroung associative centre in Berlin. The year after,
he created "Kinodrom", an itinerant Film Festival which screens
movies in cities and countries all over East Europa. In 2006 the
first mission of cultural operator was created within SPIP 94, which
is the rehabilitation department for prisonners in "Val de Marne".
Julien Fiorentino worked during one year at the prison of Fresnes
and becomes the coordinator of the project.
In 2008, he worked as voluntary in the malien association of
Itinerant Digital Cinema (CNA Cinéma numérique Ambulant :
first broadcaster in West Africa), directed and produced several
movies about sensitisation actions for image in Sahel.
Back in France, after three years and a half working on rehabilitation
issues through culture in penitenciary context, he directs Avenue
de La liberté, which is his first documentary film.
Coordinator of Malian structure Cinéma Numérique Ambulant, he directed and produced several films on advocacy by image West Africa. Back in France, he realizes "Avenue de la Liberté", first documentary film (52') on the issues of reintegration by culture in the prison of Fresnes (France multicast and festival selections). Aware of the impact of the film tool with African communities, he designed the Dynamo Africa and worked as project coordinator and director.
