Producer, author, Jean-Marc GIRI is a graduate of Institut d'Etudes Politiques, Paris. After a career in strategy consulting, he created Veilleur de Nuit Production in 2005 and poursues since then a film d'auteur production policy from Bertrand Blier, l'Homme tout contre, by Juliette Cazanave, broadcasted on ARTE to Wrong Elements, first film by Jonathan Littell, selected at the Cannes Film Festival in the official selection, alongside Hivernage, first feature drama by Laurence Gavron, produced by Moctar Ndiouga Ba (Médiatik, Dakar), in association with Veilleur de Nuit.
He is the author and co-director of Andre Brink, l'Africain, portrait of the engaged south-african author died in 2014, broadcasted on Arte.
