Senegalese Actor, Scriptwriter, Film Director and Producer.
Born in 1978. When is 13 years old, Ismaël "Iso" THIAM starts as Actor. Since then, Art is the best school according to him.

I 2004, he writes and directs DJAAY DJAP (and acts as main character). He won the Grand Ebene Jury Award and the Best short drama Ebene Award at FIFQ 2004 (Festival International du film de quartier, DAKAR, December 2004).
The same year, he stars as Bathie, alongside with Joséphine Mboup Choubira, in VIEUX SAMBA, short drama directed by Serigne Mbodj (Grand Ebene Award at Festival du Film de Quartier de Dakar 2004).
He plays Madou in LES HOMMES EN BLEU (THE MEN IN BLUE, by Chico Koffi Gnassounou, France, 2007, short), then Souleymane, one of the main roles of the Feature L'ABSENCE by Mama Keïta (Guinea / France, 2009), alongside with William Nadylam, Ibrahima Mbaye, Mame Ndoumbé Diop, Jacky Tavernier, Mouss Diouf and Omar Seck.
In 2011, he is Assistant-director for French filmmaker Olivier Langlois (LES PIROGUES DE HAUTES TERRES, 2011, shot in Senegal).
In 2013, he is back behind the camera as Scriptwriter, Film Director and Producer for his DAKAR DAKAR (2013). He won the CulturaDakar Prize at CineRek Short FilmFest 2014 (Dakar): th movie is screened in all the Spanish Cultural Centers worldwide.
