François Verster has a wide background in writing, music, academia
and film. After completing a MA degree at the University of Cape
Town he worked in the film industry in New York and Britain. In 1998,
he formed the Cape Town-based Undercorrent Film & Television.

Francois Verster är en sydafrikansk dokumentärfilmare. Hans första Avanti-belönade dokumentär var Pavement Aristocrats (1998). Han har regisserat och producerat ett antal internationellt uppmärksammade filmer såsom; Emmy belönade 2006 A Lion s Trial (2002), The Mother's House (2006) Sea Point Days (2009) och The Dream of Shahrazad (2015).
