Akwaba-Matignon

Akwaba-Matignon
Fine artist
Principal country concerned : Column : Fine arts, Design

His artistical itinerary starts in a search: his roots. This "loss of the bond" will nourish a frustration in him, that he tries to fill by a growing interest for Africa.
His scholar itinerary is like a patchwork of experiences : he works sculpture, puffed up glass and obtains a BTS of data processing. Later on, he enters the school of Arts of Angers. He uses the ground, sand, ash, the sheets and barks of trees but also of the pigments that he finds during his various voyages...any element related to the Mother Earth.Basically animist, Akwaba-Matignon is attached to the natural elements and tries, through his work, to make visible this particular bond.
