Born in 1956 in Salé (Morocco). After uncompleted film studies in Italy, Ahmed Boulane started his career of filmaker in 1981. He worked on around fifty films as an actor, assistant director, cast director, then as producer he made "Adopte moi" (1993), "voyage dans le passé" (1996), "Moi, ma mere et Bétina" (2003)
