Abdelhalim Rais (Boualem BENRAÏS by his birth name) is an actor, theater comedian and playwright, born on January 4, 1924 in the Casbah of Algiers and died on November 8, 1979.
Boualem BENRAÏS chose the nickname "Abdelhalim" from the name of Abdelhalim Hafid whom he adored so much.
