Since 2006, Kidam, production company based in Paris, produced more than 180 programs on every formats world wide: documentaries, fictions, concerts films, music videos…

With a strong support policy to originals authors, Kidam gives access to entertaining and smart contents, combining artistic development, financial expertise and national and international diffusion to an increasingly large public.

It also provides quality executive production missions for French and foreign companies. Today, Kidam develops its savoir-faire through three distinctive production departments: Documentary, Fiction, and Music to Image.

Documentaries
The documentary unit of Kidam is based on cultural programs; History on music and cinema constituting the bulk of its catalogue to date. For the last two years, this offer opened itself to society documentary.

Kidam documentary programs have the particularity to deal with cultural, artistic and human practices, thus revealing a specific idea of our society, to better comprehend, understand and appreciate our contemporary world. A progressive vision, making sure to convey the emphasis of our differences and the fundamental interest of preserving them, emerges from these productions. Productions are mainly produced with French and European financiers and are regularly selected and award-winning in international festivals.

Fictions
With more than 25 shorts and 5 features films produced in 6 years, selected and award-winning in the best festivals, Kidam managed to prove its know-how to develop rare authors talent coming from different horizons. If the company mainly focuses itself on feature films, it continues shorts production, which is a privileged place of liberty and of new talents discovering. The editorial line is guided by the will to propose a cinema that defends a "surreal" vision of reality, where imagination is used as reality tell-tale.

Music to image
Music is a part of Kidam DNA. It could be through music videos, concerts films, musical documentaries or musical short programs. For ten years, Kidam managed to prove originality in its way to treat musical films, scheming artists and labels. Today, Kidam specialized in foreign concerts films by contracting exclusive partnerships with international festivals (Montreal, Tokyo, New-York, Oslo, Melbourne, London, Sarajevo…).

Every year, more than 40 hours of programs are shot all over the world. At the same time, music videos production evolves and opens itself to more ambitious and longer forms, responding to its diffusion mutation.
