VOU means « new » in Fijian, exactly what this dancing collective is, with a powerfull creation energy, mixing traditional and contemporary culture. VOU was founded in 2007 by Sachiko Soro, initially as a contemporary pacific dance company. In 2009 it became more progressive and structured and quite quickly they develop their capacity into many field like music, fashion and film. The group travelled a lot and experienced international and local stages. They set up many activities and VOU became a sort of Pacific music and dance school. But more than a group or a school, VOU is like "an explosive and vibrant Pacific experience".
