Cities produce masses of situations and objects that are very often not usefull for their inhabitants. Evidently we live in a society of lush consummerism and in order to cope with these situations, we have to learn to adapt and to turn to our advantage the disadvantage. I will be presenting three projects that are linked to urban sensitivity; that is to say how today cityfolk have to make with urban situations 1 Mari-Mira fancy shack spirit, is a transportable and evolving poetical village (at life scale), it's a whimsical world constructed with the re-use of disregarded materials and industriel residus. It's an urban installation oraganised, thought and made each time along the road by a collectif of inventors, populaire excentrics and artists formed on location. 2 Urban Birthday Zone a participative action/installation. It's a collective artwork involving the public in urban spaces, picking up stories and thoughts concerting the construction of a world to come. The visitors are invited in a poetical space made out of elements from a construction site. Inside they arpart of a transforming process in which they providethe material. 3 House Tuning. The project involves inhabitants coming from differents districts or area that were on the point of throwing away a piece of furniture. Our proposition is to offer to these people the possibility to reinvent, repair and transform, with a collectif of artists and technicians, what they about to get rid of. The idea is to rehabilitade and adapt to it's user a new function and a better consideration of it's poetical potentials. It is an esthetic dialogue in between inventors of everyday life and artists in a two way process of learning, experimenting and constructing together. From the workshop, when these objects are complete, they go back home to where they came from and find with there owners exsistence with family and friends
