They are women, farmers and for some Muslims, they are modern, happy, ambitious and free. By choosing a physical, thankless, neglected job, they find a job to feed their children, but much more: the path to real emancipation. They are gentle rebels, nonviolent fighters. Far from political forums or economic circles monopolized in Mayotte by their male counterparts, they prefer solutions to grand speeches.
