One Rubik's cube loses its colours as it is manipulated and then turns into a black cube, which makes the game devoid of interest because, from the billions of combinations that were possible first, there is only one left. Black thus replaces the former colours and the cubic shape of this famous brain-teaser reminds us of one of the very first sanctuaries built on earth, "the first house of God".
