Noura, a young arab woman, secretly got married to her friend Daniel, american and gay, in order to obtain a green card. She wants to stay in america and become an artist. all this she is hiding from her conservative arabic family who actually sent her to america to study medicine. The green card interview is in two days and everything seems to be going as planned, when all of a sudden noura's very conservative father fareez shows up in the us, unannouncedly.
