In a rattling old 2 CV, Lam, nicknamed Monsieur Poulet (Mr Chicken), goes off into the bush to get chickens to sell in Niamey. Helped by Tallou and Damouré, he hopes to make a good profit. But unforeseen events occur, the chickens cannot be found and it is difficult to cross the Niger river. And a female devil keeps on casting spells.
