By an autumn day, The Death disguised as a young journalist called Tarak, visits Gianni, a senile old resident living in a home for the elderly run by nuns in charge of caring citizens of the Christian community and aging no family in Tunis.
Gianni is a former owner of Italian cinema in the popular district of the Medina of Tunis "Bab El Fella." He disappeared, leaving a manuscript that recounts the events that took place twenty years ago and that the police did not come to be elucidated.

The first contact between the two men seemed doomed to failure.
