The film opens with a triumphant standing of women filmmakers on the podium of FESPACO to receive an award for their quality work and performance. It pays a tribute to the pioneers for their commitment, and for attracting today many women in a formerly man reserved profession. In spite of the preconceived ideas and sociocultural factors, the new generation of women filmmakers is very active, in front or behind the camera, thus contributing to the industry with her sensitiveness, original touch and insight on Africa.
