An old man watches over a school at the break of dawn. Children's voices from afar are singing the national anthem of Mozambique. He takes us to an enormous, mysterious space, which the main characters will reveal in fragments: Elvita, Carlos and Salim. Three lives moving towards the future without neglecting the quiet condition of the present.
The Grand Hotel Da Beira stands in the midst of nowhere. A long way away from its original vocation, the hotel now shelters merchants, clergy and families who share this formerly luxurious space transformed into a village.
Unusual and elegant study of town planning gone wild.
