Prince Shamsher Singh and his sister, Rajshree, are the monarchs of the region. They have never known a day of poverty, and have lived a life full of pleasure, and luxury. In his eagerness to be crowned the king, Shamsher gets the word out about the death of his father, and assumes control over the throne and the region. He uses his powers as a force of oppression, and increases the taxes on a already struggling and poverty-stricken people. In order to fight this oppression, a young man named Jai comes forward. He forcefully abducts Rajshree and promises to marry her. But will a haughty princess ever concede to marry a commoner? And will Shamsher ever rest until and unless he has Jai killed?
