RAYMOND AMMANN is a swiss ethnomusicologist. He lived and performed research in New caledonia (Centre Culturel Tjibaou) and Vanuatu (National Cultural Center) from 1992 to 2004. In 1989 and 2006, he conducted research in Papua New Guinea. Today Raymond is affiliated with the Institute of Musicology, University of Innsbruck, Austria.
