Kambau Namaleu Lamang was born in 1948 in Galeg Village, Madang Province in Papua New Guinea. He is an illuminater and printmaker and works both in Papua New Guinea and Australia.

He is well known for his many wonderful prints including 'Confused stare' and 'O meri wantok'.  Some of his works are on display at the Australian National Gallery.
