Josza Anjembe followed a group of dancers for four years. The film is selected at the Paris Festival of Urban Cultures. The film tells the story of the emergence of the KRUMP (for "Kingdom Radically Uplifted Mighty Praise"), a dance inspired by "clown dancing", invented in 1992 by Thomas Johnson, who was shocked by the violence of the race riots. A new musical genre in France that Warrenne, Grihka and Andréa, the first woman, French, white, confront in front of the Krump Kings, the gods of Krump, judges of the first 100% Krump competition in France.

The proselytes dance. They perform gestures of rare complexity, at a speed of execution that is beyond comprehension. They penetrate in places the spheres of the trance. A movement was born. Yet in the United States, we are krumping to put an end to gangs, ghetto and racial hatred. But what about France?

Josza ANJEMBE has captured the birth of a movement and goes to meet dancers of a new genre.

Warrenne and Grihka go to the source. Their objective: to bring the Krump back to France. With them, Andréa, the first woman, French, white, confronts this ultra-masculine monster.
