Nadia Meflah

French and Algerian Author / Critic / Cinema consultant / Journalist.

Nadia MEFLAH is a film author, critic, journalist and consultant.
Critical journalist for the Bande à Part (www.bande-a-part.fr).

She was a programmer for the International Critics' Week in Cannes, cinema programmer and trainer for the teaching league (Paris federation).
She is a cinema trainer for teachers and students.

Nadia Meflah holds a DEA in film studies and has been teaching cinema for many years. Programmer and critic (Bande à part, Benshi, Africiné,...), she collaborates in various French and international festivals. She is also the author of the documentary Oum Kalthoum, the voice of Cairo (Arte - 2017) and of the book Chaplin et les femmes (ed. Philippe Rey, 2007). Listening to all audiences, passionate about transmission, Nadia Meflah regularly appears in cinemas.
In 2021, she is a member of the Jury of International Critics (FIPRESCI) at the JCC (Tunis).
