After training as an actor at the Montreal Conservatory of Dramatic Arts and 11 years in the business, Henri became a director to fulfill his desire to tell stories. He graduated from INIS in 2005 (Cinema 2005 program, Director profile, National Institute of Image and Sound - INIS, Montreal (Quebec), Canada).
Of Haitian origin, he wants to unite the culture of his parents with that of today's Quebec. In 2006, Henri developed a television series entitled "Dans la peau" and founded Productions 13, with Martin Berardelli.

Henri Pardo is the founder of Black Wealth Media, a film production company and co-producer of the historical documentary series "Afro-Canada", which he designed and directed. He received the Magnus-Isacsson 2021 Award at the Rencontres internationales du Documentaire de Montréal for his documentary "Dear Jackie" about the community of Little Burgundy. His first feature film "Kanaval", currently in production, honours the story of his family's arrival in Canada in the 1970s. The film is supported by the CFC/Netflix accelerator, Sodec and Telefilm Canada. Henri is the creator of the Encre Noire mentorship program, which is dedicated to emerging Afro-descendant filmmakers, and he is also a founding member of Black on Black films, a networking and professionalization organization.

He is the Winner BHM 2022 (Black History Month - Mois Histoire des Noirs, September 2022).
