Everlane MORAES (Brazil, 1987) is documentarist. Her shorts have a hybrid aesthetic between documentary and video art. It mixes philosophical concepts with social issues of the black diaspora. She graduated in Visual Arts at the Federal University of Sergipe, Brazil, and studied Documentary Direction at the Film and TV School - EICTV, Cuba. She is currently the founder of La Hermandad Filmes, a creative group of authors that includes three film producers (Pattaki Filmes, Palenque Filmes and Estudio L). She is a member of the Association of Black Film Professionals (A.P.A.N), an entity that represents Afrodescendant filmmakers vis-à-vis public bodies, foundations, institutions, NGOs and private companies in Brazil and the world. She is a member of the Tela Preta Film Collective, a group of filmmakers, journalists and historians who work on issues of Afro-descendant culture in Brazil, based in the city of Salvador de Bahia, Brazil.

Documentalista. Sus cortos tienen una estética híbrida entre documental y videoarte. Mezcla de conceptos filosóficos con cuestiones sociales de la diáspora negra. Estudió Dirección de Documental en la Escuela de Cine y TV - EICTV, Cuba y se graduó en Artes Visuales en la Universidad Federal de Sergipe, Brasil. Actualmente es fundadora de La Hermandad Filmes, grupo creativo de autores que integra tres productoras de cine (Ojos Negros Filmes, Palenque Filmes y Estudio L). Es integrante de la Asociación de Profesionales del Cine Negro (A.P.A.N), entidad que representa los cineastas, descendientes de personas, afiliados, fundaciones, instituciones, empresas y empresas privadas en el Brasil y en el mundo. Es integrante del Colectivo de Cine Tela Prieta, grupo de cineastas, periodistas e historiadores que trabajan con temas sobre la cultura afro descendiente en Brasil con sede en la ciudad de Salvador de Bahía, Brasil.
