Carlos Segundo was born in São Paulo. With a PhD in cinema and a master in psychoanalysis, he is a professor at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte (UFRN) but also founder of the Brazilian production company O sopro do tempo.
Director, photographer and editor, he has directed a first feature film, Fendas (FIDMarseille 2019) which will be released in theaters on July 28, 2021, and the short films from time to time I burn (FIDMarseille 2020) and Sidéral (Official Competition Cannes 2021).
