Calvin Kirimba who also goes by the artistic name Calvo Mistari is a Kenyan Rapper with the Group Lyrical assassins. He started rapping in 2003 in his last year of High School during the Insyder Pure 02 talent search. From there he joined his friends from his childhood Home in Madaraka Estate, Nick Osawao aka NickDawg and Paul Otiato aka Joka And in 2004 they came up with their first single The flows featuring Kenyan American based rapper Bamboo with became an instant hit.

They later hooked up with Ambrose Akwambi of Mandugu Digital and with the help of Bruce othiambo they started recording their debut album in 2005. In January of the next year they released their 1st single in the album titled Kwenye dansi which was well received and dominated radio and TV airplay during that year. The single was nominated for 2 kisima awards in the 2007 edition of the awards. The group was nominated for best new Group alongside eventual winner P-Unit and was also nominated for Best Boomba Song.

In 2007 they went on to release numerous songs off their album Chinchini. The song Chinichini is a household song to date.
In 2009 the group took a break from music and Calvo mistari persuade a solo Career from then. He hooked up with former TPF finalist Cedric to release his first single as Calvo Mistari titled Nisamehe which did well in that year.
