The smoke rises between the filaos, a strip of land in the public maritime domain. Mother Garap temporarily occupies a plot of land. It is a house without walls or doors. She works there and trains her children. She takes care of the plants. She shares her passion for trees with passers-by. The banality of the three normals (the three teas) opens a discussion, modest, philosophical, which lets glimpse and hear the unsaid. With the froth of the tea, land issues and access to land for women come up. In this house without a door, Mother Garab questions the future and the place of landless peasants.
