In the villages lost in the mountains of Lesotho, people are fighting to survive with the little means they have. Palesa, a young girl of fifteen, wants to continue her studies but taxes are too high. Her father has immigrated abroad and no one has heard from him anymore. The women and some of the men who stayed behind have decided to take part in a project of development of their surrounding areas.
