In a country like Burkina Faso where 40% of people are Muslims, 35% Christians and 100% Animists, funerals are often moments of tension. My father's was no exception to the rule and today, I wonder what kind of funeral I will end up with when my time comes... Thus starts a tragi-comic investigation which leads me to the various actors of the funeral system: undertakers, Muslims, Catholics, Animists, funeral home directors.
