At the age of 18, Gracia has only one dream: to play football. Her passion is not without conflict with the people around her, as women's football is far from universally accepted in the Central African Republic. Girls are often referred to as ‘Koli-Wali', which means ‘half-man half-woman'. Gracia battles with her mother, who wants her to wear a skirt and do the household chores that are the preserve of women. She's also running away from school, where she's threatened with expulsion. But it doesn't matter. She has no time to lose. Playing is the only thing that matters to her.
